Orbitals

Sias wanted to continue this separation of halves with “Orbitals”. Painting mostly from the center, this piece is equally ambidextrous. The importance of posture and ambidexterity stems from Sias’ upbringing as a classical musician, but has ultimately opened a new realm for activity in his art. The product here is a result of endless fluid motion and layers upon layers of increasingly transparent oil paint, leaving behind an image that radiates rich, albeit unfamiliar colors.
